Hello,

     I am looking for a free nurbs (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) editor. I have downloaded and installed a good
nurbs++ Library of P.Lavoie which includes classes to represent curves and surfaces  as well as functions  to manipulate them.there should also be OpenGL wrappers
available for interactive design. Does anybody have experience?
many thanks
mleventi

RE: nurbs++

You could try Rhino 3D. Not free but you get a 30 day demo: www.rhino3d.com.
Or you could try Cascade. I dunno if it uses NURBS, cos I can't get it to install, but it's an open source 3D modeller.
It's very good apparently, but I wouldn't know!
www.opencascade.com I think.

Hello knobhead,

I greatly appreciate your help. I don't think Rhino
is anything for me, because I work with Linux or Solaris.
But  the opencascade seems to be very appropriate.
I visited the site and it looks very promising to me.
Many thanks
mleventi
