Display Problem with SW2007 and nVidia Quadro FX1300

Display Problem with SW2007 and nVidia Quadro FX1300

(OP)
I have been doing some testing of SW2007 here, getting ready to throw the switch. Everything looks good except the on screen display. My preview images are fine, but what I see in the graphics area is horrible. I looked at the SW website and found that my driver was actually newer than what SW approved, so I installed the older one. Still bad video. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ken

SW2007 sp1.1
Dell Precision 370
P4, 2.8 GHz, 2GB RAM
XP Pro 2.0 sp2.0
nVidia Quadro FX 1300
Driver 8.4.2.6 (newer than what SW recommends)
Also tried Driver 7.7.5.6 (what SW recommends)

Did completely uninstall the "too-new" driver before installing the approved one? See FAQ559-1194.

cheers

I did not completely un-install the "too-new" driver, but I think that the installer application did because once my computer rebooted (the first time) I got the "New Hardware Found" etc...

Did you remember to reset the application setting to SolidWorks?

cheers
