Displaying Total Component QTYÆs From Multiple Configurations In BOM

(OP)
Using Solidworks 2006, SP5.1;

I have created an assembly with multiple configurations and I would like to display the total QTY’s of all components used to make up all configurations but in one BOM column and not in different configuration columns, is there a way to do this?

Any response will be greatly appreciated!

RE: Displaying Total Component QTYÆs From Multiple Configurations In BOM

Have one configuration which has everything unsuppressed, and use that to create the BOM.

cheers

RE: Displaying Total Component QTYÆs From Multiple Configurations In BOM

Pick the BOM, then check all the checkboxes of the configs.  All the configs will be side-by-side on the table.  Insert a column for the total, and use the equation editor to add the totals up.
