How to calculate water vapor in air

How to calculate water vapor in air

How to calculate water vapor in air

(OP)
Greetings...

I want to avoid the use of psychrometric charts, but I have information of air wet and dry bulb temperature. What is the formula that will allow me to calculate the humidity, so I can then calculate the quantity of water vapor in the air. If you do not have the formula handy, at least let me know, any references where I can find it. Thanks in advance. Happy Holidays...

RE: How to calculate water vapor in air

I believe using the air-water psychrometric chart would be much easier and faster than searching for the equations you speak of.

Good luck,
Latexman

RE: How to calculate water vapor in air

The equations are available from most intro thermo books.

You can also down load them from the web somewhere as an add-in to Excel.

Costs a few dollars, but if you really want. . . .

RE: How to calculate water vapor in air

If you want to program it yourself, this problem was discussed before in thread724-129442
