I need help sizing a gearmotor to turn a spool...

(OP)
I am mostly a mechanical guy and don't very often get into electrical so I came here...

My customer has specified that I need to use an SEW Eurodrive type SF Helical worm Gearmotor. I am turning a spool which measures 34" OD and 11" ID and has a max weigth of 250lbs. I need to accelerate to 200FPM in 2.8 seconds which comes to b22.5 rpm/b. I caluclated the inertia of the spool to be 356 lb-ft^2. I am looking to calculate my running Torque, startup Torque and the HP required in order to properly size the gearmotor. This is where I get a little unsure of myself. Any help with formulas or calculations would be much appreciated. Thanks.
