Coil Tubing

Coil Tubing

(OP)
Can anyone help me with finding the specifications for stainless steel coil tubing?  Especially in the area of ppf?  We are wanting to insert 3/4" tube into a 1" pipe about 2,000' (gas well).  Would there be any oblonged type stress at this length?  Thinking 304 ss... maybe 316... whatever.  Wall thicknes: .049.

RE: Coil Tubing

ASTM A269.  You must make sure that there is enough clearance for the small tube to fit into the larger tube.  Try Greenville Tubes, New jersey I think.

RE: Coil Tubing

Check out Dyna-Coil in Kilgore, TX .  They insert 2205 stainless steet tubing of various sizes down to 20,000 feet.
