Floor wire duct - very old

Floor wire duct - very old

(OP)
I hope this isn't too far off the subject...

We have some old in-floor wire duct - circa 1962 - that we are using for computer & comm lines.

In an upcoming renovation, we want to dress it up a little bit.  Unfortunately, I can't identify the manufacturer.  The only markings I can find are the letters "SMT" on the underside of a cover.

Can anyone tell me who this might be?

Alternatively, can someone suggest a supplier for covering a 6" dia. access?  I'd like something that looks nice - not just a home-made circle with a hole in the middle.

Thanks,

Geof McLean

Try asking in the TekTips forum, under the wiring clost/cabling section.
