Preview check box will not stay checked

Preview check box will not stay checked

Preview check box will not stay checked

(OP)
Does anyone know why the preview check box will not stay checked in SW 2007 2.1. It seems to uncheck every time when inserting a block, and it sometimes unchecks when opening a part or drawing.

RE: Preview check box will not stay checked

Overworked1,
I have been noticing some boxes will not stay checked. What I am trying now is to check the box then perform the function to completion. Close SolidWorks completely and reopening SolidWorks most of the time the box will remember the check box settings. No promises.
The one I had trouble with was the Enable performance feedback.

RE: Preview check box will not stay checked

The preview checkbox in File > Open, or the preview checkbox on inserting a part into an assembly?  My open preview stays checked, but for some reason the preview for inserting a part into an assembly is a 1-time only checkbox.

I cannot get the preview button to stay checked for inserting drawing blocks.
