Custom Radiator OEM's

Custom Radiator OEM's

Custom Radiator OEM's

(OP)
I have an applicaiton that requires a custom made radiator for a diesel engine.  Our current engine supplier uses a radiator manufacturer that is at best, lacking in support and turn-around.  I am in search for suggestions for an OEM manufacturer of radiators to custom specs.  Qty's can range from 1 to 50, depending on the customer.  The OEM should be able to respond quickly to our inputs AND work with us in trying to determine a solution for custom applicaitons.

Any vendor suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
Bill

RE: Custom Radiator OEM's

Fluidyne does have a OEM group called Thermal Dynamics. However, I can't claim any Engineering experience in this area. Only experience as a end customer.

Niagara Thermal is a good one (www.niagarathermal.com) as is Active Radiator (www.activeradiator.com). In my opinion,  I think that Active Radiator only does aluminum radiators.

RE: Custom Radiator OEM's

I found that Active radiator does a lot more than just aluminum radiators.  They also do brass and steel.  They were very helpful with my custom work requirements.

Moretsu,

Who did you speak with at Active?  I didn't have much support with my sales/tech rep.  The radiator turned out well, but I wasn't completely satisfied with their service.

RE: Custom Radiator OEM's

I spoke with Tom Campbell and Terry Newell on different occasions and both were very helpful.  Who did you talk with?  My radiator also turned out well. I was just curious what your problem was?  Sorry post took so long.  I didnt think I was gonna get a reply to my post earlier. :)

RE: Custom Radiator OEM's

Mark was my contact.  Not sure of his last name.

T.Rad (formerly known as CoPAR) makes a lot of off-road radiators. I believe they also do on-road and motorcycle applications. In my experience they are fairly competitive in the 500-2000 units/yr range, but not sure about 1-50.  ISZ

RE: Custom Radiator OEM's

I know of a company that is small but is big in the service and support of their customers. They design Cooling Packs, and manufacture Radiator, Air to Air and Oil Coolers.Delivery, depending on the design can be as fast as one (1) week.
