Work Instruction for Thread Length Measuring??

Work Instruction for Thread Length Measuring??

Work Instruction for Thread Length Measuring??

(OP)
I am having a problem with a customer involving the thread length on a double ended stud, in the effort to clarify both parties views, I am trying to create a Work Instruction showing how to measure thread length. I would like to include "full thread" and "total thread" for a double ended stud, but would like to go a step further by adding Lg and Ls(or body length) on standard cap screws. I can only find a old IFI standard from 1982 that shows some of the information I need. My question is, is there another standard out there I can use as reference?
Any suggestions would help.
Thank you in advance............
