Check this guy's track record. It is not a school question.

I guess that cyclic voltage variation is just that. A variation of the voltage that is not random, but follows a cyclic pattern. Whatever the rate of variation and the reason for it is.

'Voltage Cyclic Variation deviation' has been found in table(voltage variations for d.c distribution system) stipulated in IACS(International Association of Classification Societies).
