Elevator Sump Pump Specifications

Elevator Sump Pump Specifications

Elevator Sump Pump Specifications

(OP)
I am a pump sales specialist and I have noticed a trend within the engineering communitity (PE's mainly) regarding the specifications for elevator sump applications.
There seems to be very inconsistant specifications for the State of Texas.
What's being specified in other parts of the country?
Given the nature of the media, is Value Engineering an acceptable practice?
Where should the high water alarm be installed?

The reason I ask, is because there are many different schools of thought on all the above questions.

Very Best,
Patster aka The Pump Guy
