demin water specification

(OP)
could some body explain me what is the defference between demin water and normal water in terms of freezing and boiling point? or even some more physical specification.
any reply is appreciated.

RE: demin water specification

Properties of demin water you can read in tables. I assume that saying "normal water" you understand potable water from a tap: it contains some salts (~ 20 mg/l) and dissolved gases and therefore conducts electricity to some extent contrary to demin water that is almost an insulator. Properties of potable or "normal" water are slightly different: it is more dense, has a slightly higher boiling point and a slightly lower freezing point, but with a household equipment you will not detect those differences. Perhaps the most obvious difference is the surface tension- if you wash your hands with demin water you will feel like you will never remove soap away.
Some of my friends claim that coffee or tea made of demin water is better. Potable water is more tasty to drink - if you are thirsty enough to drink water.
By a long term use demin water will start dissolving pipes and tap water will deposit minerals inside pipes.
