(OP)
How do I calculate the volume thermal expansion of an aluminum part? My concern is that their are several parts in this assembly that this will affect. Thank you for the assistance.

RE: calculating thermal

If the part is all aluminum, the volume thermal expansion is 3 times the linear. The linear coefficient is  about 13 microinches/inch per deg F near room temperature. So the volume coefficient would be 3x13 microinches^3 per cubic inch per deg F. For other temperatures, the formula holds.

RE: calculating thermal

CORRECTION
The answer should be 3*13*10^-6 in^3/in^3/ deg F for volume coeff to make it more accurately stated, given that the linear was
13*10^-6 in/in/degF
