Dynamic spring rates

Dynamic spring rates

Dynamic spring rates

(OP)
We have 2-masses separated by four toroidal shaped rubbers. The smaller mass (220 lb.)is excited at 3,000 to 4,000 CPM and the larger (5,500 lb.) at 900 CPM. We are using natural rubber (50-60 durometer). The spring rates are not what was predicted and we are running afoul of at least one resonant frequency. We are looking for a model or a dynamic test procedure that will help us find a material with a resonant frequency outside the operating ones.
