Can anyone suggest a source for extra wide electrical (vinyl) tape? I'm looking for something in the 6"-8" width range.

Color is unimportant.

Thanks in advance.

RE: extra wide electrical tape

I've heard about "liquid electrical tape". Comes in a can and you dip things into it.

Call 3M?

telecomguy,

LOL.  So the RS stuff is ideal for wrapping a very wide, but extremely short spice, right?

Along, the same lines, I remember the one-pager (LOL then too) about pipes and tubing:  "All outside diameters must be larger than, and also continuously remain outside all inside diameters, for the same size pipe or tubing.  Likewise . . . "

telecomguy, I have some of the 66' wide stuff already - it's just a wee bit short.

I found a 6" wide vinyl tape at edemco.com. It is .005 thick and comes in varying colors.

I think I can make it work. Thanks for the suggestions.
