Clay Stickiness

Clay Stickiness

Clay Stickiness

(OP)
I have seen a correlation plotting liquidity index against plasticity index, with zones on the plot to indicate low, medium, and high stickiness potential relative to tunneling in a clay soil.  I understand it is from a paper in German, but have been unsuccessful in finding the reference.  Anyone familiar with this?

RE: Clay Stickiness

Chaps33,

Maybe also try posting this in the "Underground structure engineering" forum.

Try te Linda Hall Library (www.lhl.lib.mo.us). They have an incredible assortment of engineering papers. You can search on the web or call. The will copy and mail or e-mail you the articles. Rates are VERY reasonable.

RE: Clay Stickiness

I am looking for the same info - Have you already obtained the reference?
