Import multiple drawing files to one file with multiple drawing sheets

Import multiple drawing files to one file with multiple drawing sheets

(OP)
Hi All,

We have numerous AutoCAD 2000 files, most cases 2 or 3 different files belong to the same part number containing different data. Is there a way we can consolidate the files (belonging to one part number)  into one AutoCAD file with multiple drawing sheets?

We have LT 2004 also, if that can be used. Thanks

Mechanical Engineer

Sure.  Just copy and paste, insert, or xref the existing files' content into model space, then set up paper space tabs to show each of them on a sheet.

You can bring these files as external references or turn them in as block drawings
