Module for animations and images??

Module for animations and images??

Module for animations and images??

Does NX has an equivalent plugin module for animations and rendered images to the new animation capabilities of Solid Edge V19? I know there is a studio for images but can it also animate and explode the way Solid Edge can?

RE: Module for animations and images??

Yes.  On the Visualization toolbar there is an icon, next to the one for High Quality Image, for the Animation function.  What you do is set up motion and/or fly-thru schemes and once you have tested and verified them, you can execute them within the High Quality Rendering mode, thus capturing an MPEG movie file.  Virtually all of the material, lighting, special effects options available when creating a still image is availble when generating the frames of an MPEG.  there are also tools to perform post-production editing allowing you to splice smaller clips together with fades and swipes, to create longer and more professional looking 'movies'.

Now I'll be the first to admit that this is not the easiest to use function in NX (if we were taking a survey, I suspect that it might even be voted one of the hardest to use), but with a little trial & error and perseverance, you can produce some truly amazing film-clips.
