Information search

(OP)
Hi there,

I am trying to build up a detailed picture of the ground history of an area in London.
I would like to find a map showing the historical ground use and any potential contaminated sites. The area in question is a 6x1 km corridor starting south of Wandsworth in London and pointing south.

Does anybody know where this information could be found?

Many thanks,

RE: Information search

Duncan,

Just curious, but, for what purpose?

you can try the historical maps at the library or local museums if you feel like dredging through them yourself, but I think that you'll be looking at an awful lot of potentially contaminated sites. Best consult local contaminatd land specialists with your query.

I often use 'Ian Farmer Associates' in Luton / Harpenden. They do alot of my site investigation work in London.

Regards

Soiledup
