compressor wash waste water

(OP)
Hello everyone.  I need help in determining how waste water is handled during an Off-Line compressor wash on a Westinghouse 501AA unit and on a GE Frame 7C unit.  I can't figure out where the water ends up.  Does anybody have experience with this.
Thanks,

RE: compressor wash waste water

As far as I know on the 701DA (50Hz variant of the 501) the water either runs out of the combuster shell drain or is vapourised when the unit next lights off.

RE: compressor wash waste water

It is site dependent.  All of our drains go to our on-site waste water facility where it is treated before being released.  If you don't have that type of situation, you must recover this waste water and dispose of it properly.
