Two pumping stations for one circuit

Two pumping stations for one circuit

Two pumping stations for one circuit

(OP)
Hi,
we have two chillers stations, one with three chillers(75 ton/each- two run) and long pipes (3000 meters),and the other circuit with two chillers (75 ton/each - one runs) and short pipes (200 meters) , we want to redesign the pipes to connect these two circuits in one circuit to make more standby units for each side, what is the most considerations we have to care about?(Regard flowrate and pressure drops)

Best regards,

RE: Two pumping stations for one circuit

Please do a calculation on the energy(cooling) loss across the 3km run of pipe.Given the small capacity of chillers, you may lose quite a bit by hooking them up into a single system
