Roll-over cage specification - anyone has an idea?

Roll-over cage specification - anyone has an idea?

Roll-over cage specification - anyone has an idea?

(OP)
G'day all!

somebody approached our office regarding a roll-over cage certification (on a forklift).

I have gone through AS2359.9 - High lift rider trucks - overhead guards - Specification and testing ( which is similar to ISO6055:1979).

The above code (australian)covers only the overhead protection for the operator but not the whole roll-over cage.

Queries:
1.) does anyone know of a code (australian or international) which covers the whole roll-over cage?

2.) Can anyone lead me to a website or documents which i can use as a best practice reference?

Cheers!

RE: Roll-over cage specification - anyone has an idea?

Google "ROPS", an acronym for Roll Over Protective Structure.

I think there's an SAE standard for it; see www.sae.org.

I thought OSHA had requirements on them- while not applicable outside the US, you might still find some worthwhile info.
