In Drawings(with Layer set to NONE); I don't see  Insert-> Model Items -> Cosmetic Thread
I see Anotations and under that heading; 6 other types of Annotations.

Where is this Cosmetic Thread icon?
Also, in an Isometric view in a Drawing, are threads not able to be shown?

Right-click on the "Annotations" folder in the design tree and choose "Details...".  Are Cosmetic Threads selected?

No, I don't think cosmetic threads can be shown in an isometric unless you choose a shaded type view.
