Translate AutoCAD files

(OP)
Anyone here use DWGgateway? I want to save my files to different versions from inside AutoCAD. I heard TruConvert does this but not from inside AutoCAD?

RE: Translate AutoCAD files

I know that you are able to go "Tools" -> "Option" and then under the "Open and Save" Tab, change the Save as: setting to "AutoCAD 2000/LT2000 Drawing (*.dwg).

This will ensure that just about everyone that you are sending files to will be able to open them.

RE: Translate AutoCAD files

TruConvert can convert from  R14 to 2007, back and forth.
