Hi can anyone help me out on how a uPVC pipe will be connected to HDPE pipe. Im currently designing an irrigation system wherein the client requires us to use uPVC pipe for sizes below 225mm and HDPE for above sizes. Much will be of help if you can give me commercial sizes and specs of uPVC in spreadsheets. Thanks

RE: uPVC to HDPE pipe connections

You dont say whether this is a pressure or gravity system, so I am assuming its a pressure system.

Viking johnson do a coupling designed specifically for PE/PVC connections called Aquafast.

RE: uPVC to HDPE pipe connections

What size is your HDPE pipe. You could butt-fuse a reducer and flange adapter and backing ring onto the HDPE pipe and have a simple flanged connection. There are lots of vendors for those fittings.
