Midsurface w/ Pro/E

Is there any way to take the mid-surface of a protrusion within Pro/E?  I have a sheet metal part which I need to export into an FEA program and the midsurface of this part is required to mesh with shell elements.  Any help would be appreciated.  I haven't been successful finding this in the documentation.

Thanks in advance,
-Brian

RE: Midsurface w/ Pro/E

If you have ProMesh, you can grab the midsurfaces from your part.

Sumpin you might want to try...

_ Create a surface subset shrinkwrap.  Low resolution is usually
good.  You don't want the material edge surfs.
_ Create a seed & boundary copy of one face set (driving or offset).
_ Offset the copy and export.
