Digitising with autocad

I wonder if any autocad users have any experience with the Wacom tablet. We have a Wacom Intuos 3 which is available for us to use and are mostly wondering how useful it may be with digitising from paper drawings for further editing onto autocad. We tried to set it up without much success I might add - but prior to spending time getting used to this was wondering how useful are people finding it. Is it worth the hassle/expense? We use autocad 2006

RE: Digitising with autocad

I've used a kurta digitizer with 12 button puck... works quite well... if the wacom is similar, it can be a real aide.  I'm currently playing with a Nostromo game controller... and this is very handy.

Thanks Dik,

Guess from the responses not many use a tablet
