Runtime Exception error when saving

Runtime Exception error when saving

Runtime Exception error when saving

(OP)
My company just got the V5R17 release and after installing it on my laptop when I tried to save a Catia part file it said:

"Runtime Exception"
Click OK to terminate

Then Catia closes and the file which was saved cannot be opened again.
It's actually the first time this happens and I would know how to solve this problem. We had no problems on the other computers, only on my laptop.

RE: Runtime Exception error when saving

if you run the R17 software management tool - the results return compatible?  Laptop info please.

Regards,
Derek

Hi Derek,

Check Integrity Level 1 & 2 was OK!
Prerequisites OK
Check Memory : OK
Check Network adapter : OK
Check DLLs : OK

MS Windows XP SP2
Intel Celeron x86 1.5 Ghz
1 GB RAM

The problem only occurs when saving and when opening "Document Properties" (File -> Document Properties). I can open and view my R16 files, but when I save them the the message comes.

RE: Runtime Exception error when saving

Dxm06 - try this, make a backup copy of your job, run the tools -- utility -- CATDUA (Version R17).  Change the selected operation to clean from check.  As a general rule, you should wait until SP1 of a version (for production use).

Regards,
Derek

It doesn't seem to work! =/

We're actually running SP2, and I installed SP1 + SP2 with same results.
