Thermic Fluid

(OP)
Hi
what are the problems faced in thermic fluid pumping (at 350 C). Is there any thermic fluid that can be heated upto 800 deg C. How advantage is thermic fluid Vs convensional Furnace heating?

Metarial to heat : Zircon sand
Temp req         : 670deg C

Hope some body out there might be using Thermic fluids. If so please give me some ideas

Thankx

RE: Thermic Fluid

A friend of mine was using lead as a thermic fluid in one of his applications. He used an adapted welding trafo for heating.
