Looking for the "laminator"

Looking for the "laminator"

Looking for the "laminator"

(OP)
in conversation I have heard of a machine that can perform impregnation of woven roving or knitted fabrics using any kind of thermoset resin. I am trying to find such a machine, the manufacturer of these machines or anyone who may know more about it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Looking for the "laminator"

Hey Babe,

What you want is a 'wet-out' machine.  They are quite common in the pseudo-high-tech boatbuilding industry.  Talk to your resin supplier, or spray-gun equipment supplier.

I know ATL in Queensland sell them, and ATL sell West System products (amongst others), so you could try Gougeon Brothers or other West Mess suppliers.

Good luck.

Resin Transfer moulding/ resin injection moulding may be another alternative.
