hi everyone...

im using the educational version 17 of SE.

and i have a cylinder, and i want to thread one part of it. and im using the thread option in SE. and everytime i try it. it works. but instead of showing the thread its covering the part thats supposed to be threaded with a green color.
can you please tell me how to show the thread, cause i need to show that in this assembly..

thanks a lot for the help

RE: i need to create a screw/thread from a cylinder

Missa,

When you apply threading to a cylindrical face, Solid Edge displays the default green color to the face.

To display more realistic threads without taking a helical cutout is to click Format > View and check ON textures on the Rendering tab.
