selecting entities during dimensioning
selecting entities during dimensioning
(OP)
My installation of SW 2006 has become very temperamental in regards to selecting edges during dimensioning. I have to be exactly spot on the line for it to select it and even then its probably only a 50/50 crap shoot. Is there a setting that may have changed dealing with sensitivity?

Either way check the Selection Filter settings.

I personally think its some kind of gov't conspiracy but I'm not sure of the motives yet. I have my tin foil hat handy though is case it starts getting worse.

Do you have the same problem in model sketches?
Which SP are you using?
RE: selecting entities during dimensioning
SP0.0 SW 2006

I thought it was only me having the problem. In SW2006 I started having problems placing dimensions, like rmetzger said you had a 50/50 chance of getting the dimension where you wanted it to go. This was especially true of diameters dimensioned in a plan view. Now with SW2007 I'm having problems selecting surfaces without using the filter tool. I've always been able to select surfaces without turning it on. Now it is also a 50/50 chance. Now it may be a video card problem since my Matrox is no longer supported.
