I am looking to replace my IRD equipment. Has anybody used the Bal Pac 1200 units or VB-1000V units or something simular. I mainly do vibration anlyzing no balancing.

The BalPac unit is not a data collector and has very limited vibration analysis features. It is an excellent balancer. The VB-1000 is a very good entry level data collector/analyzer that is the lowest priced instrument package with software on the market.
