Manual Calculation of Frequency to compare with Ansys

Manual Calculation of Frequency to compare with Ansys

(OP)
Hi

Ive run a modal simulation within ansys to obtain 4 mode frequencies of a clamped (at one end free the other) rectangular plate.

I wish to manually calualte the frequencies to ensure ansys has provided the correct data.

I have the correct forumla for rectangular plates  but have a question about the aspect ratio.

This is either really dumb or harder then i think, but i cant find the relative data from Leisse's tables for the aspect ratio of my model. Its 400mm long by 100m, by calculation lambda equals 4 the reference table i have goes up to 2.5.
Does the aspect ratio have to be a/b or would the aspect ratio i have in question be 0.25 ?

Thanks for any help you may have
