problem with meshing a model using shell mesh extrusion, urgent

problem with meshing a model using shell mesh extrusion, urgent

(OP)
I'm trying to extrude elements from a 2-d surface.  The elements are four node quads (being extruded into bricks).  I'm using the extrude to surface option.  After extrusion, there are gaps left in the mesh.  For instance, if I chose to extrude to a surface using a width (or height) of three elements Ideas makes the 1st brick, skips the 2nd, and makes the 3rd brick.  This only occurs in certain areas of my mesh.  I'm 200% sure every element is selected before extruding.  Any help would be gretly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

it sounds like there is a section discontinuation in your pick. make sure sections are turned on in your filtering. under the wireframe options filter, toggle "section on" and try your picks again right click and select "highlight selected" and zoom into corners and transitions to make sure everything is tangent continuous.
