Searching 3D Content Central

Searching 3D Content Central

Searching 3D Content Central

(OP)
Is there a search function that I can use to search 3D Content Central.  I'm looking at the user library, electrical, connectors and there are over 400 models.  Is there a way to do a keyword search rather than paging thru all the models?

Thanks smcadman.  I never would have thought of that.

RE: Searching 3D Content Central

A little trick:
If you select 3DContentCentral from the Design Library on the right of SW, then select the "Search Icon" at the top, you can search within 3DCC.

Timelord and Flores,
Curious ...
Did my suggestion work for you?

ctopher,

Works for me.  I must be blind not to have seen that icon before.  Thanks for the tip.

RE: Searching 3D Content Central

You may not have seen that icon before because it's new in SW07.  Searching through SW works for me intermittently; sometimes it works, usually it crashes SW (not responding).

It is also located in SW 2006.  You just have to select the drop down menu and then select "Search 3D ContentCentral".

It cannot be new in '07 because it is there for me in '05
