Looking for Automatic Variable Speed Circulator Pump (closed circuit)

Looking for Automatic Variable Speed Circulator Pump (closed circuit)

(OP)
Hello, i am looking (as the subject says) for a automatic variable speed circulator pump.
This pump is for a radiant floor heating boiler system in homes.  The boiler feeds multiple manifolds throughout the home, with each manifold controled by its own thermostat.
What i am looking for in this pump:
1. Looking for a pump that speeds up based on either: preasure, or the thermastats connnect to the pump, wich scales to how many are on.
2. Application is for USA, though DC power can be used

Thank you for any help in locating a pump along these lines.  Im having a tought time locating one on-line.  Hopefully i have been clear enough in what im using it for and looking for =)

Thank you
b.Hammer

You are looking for a VFD system to drive the normal pump.  http://www.peekspump.com/VFD.html  This is a sample of what's out there.

Good luck, it you get something works well, let me know, my house has in floor hot water system, it's running about 92% efficency.

Any BMS supplier can offer you this option. However, you should check whether your piping permits this. i.e whether you have two way proportional valves, controlled by thermostats, installed in your system or not.

If they exist and operate as per the temperatures inside the area, what you have to do, to optimize power consumption, is to put a DP transmitter across the supply and return headers and control the pump speed with respect to the DP. A bypass line should take care of safe minimum flow.

In Europe Wilo have a product marketed as a 'Smart Pump' which automatically adjusts speed to (approximately) maintain pressure. Their website is a nightmare to navigate www.wilo.co.uk but the product numbers are 4078635 and 4078636 if you fancy trying to find them!
