Convert a Surface Part to Solid

RE: Convert a Surface Part to Solid

Insert --> Boss/Base --> Thicken", select surface.  if surface is an enclosed volume (no gaps), then you can select an option to create volume from closed surface.

RE: Convert a Surface Part to Solid

Have you knitted the surfaces together?

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time.

RE: Convert a Surface Part to Solid

I tried to download the file. No dice.  For some reason, Mooload never works for me.

RE: Convert a Surface Part to Solid

I can't download either. Can you repost to Putfile or similar?

When Mooload first started up it was great, but over the last few months it seems to be down as much as it is up. Probably suffering from too rapid a rise in popularity.

It is working for some people as the posted number of downloads has increased.

cheers

Thanks for all the help. I did as was suggested by making sure all surfaces were knitted togrether. Apparently they were NOT. I was then able to make it solid.
Thanks Again

A side question. How do I change Mining to Mechanical??

"How do I change Mining to Mechanical??"

I don't know. Try sending a request to Management at Eng-Tips Forums in the Contacts tab at top right side of this page.

cheers
