Radial/Diameter dimensions

(OP)
I am trying to place Dia. dimensions on a drawing of a cross section view of a large torus. The overall dia. is 85". As mentioned I am just showing the cross section view but, want to show the overall dia. Its the one where the open end of the dimension has the double arrowheads.

Please help

RE: Radial/Diameter dimensions

Dad1...

You will have to go back into the model and change the dimension from radial to diametral.

When you have done that, you can go back to the drawing and highlight the dimension and suppress the extension line.

It's something like that...

RE: Radial/Diameter dimensions

Or if you have the diameter dimension in the model already, create the view as a full view, show the dimension, then change it to a partial view. It should add the double arrows for you then.
