Looking for Umbilical Information

Looking for Umbilical Information

Looking for Umbilical Information

(OP)
I'm a recent grad and somewhat new to the industry (<2 years). I started in pipelines and have been moved to an umbilical project. Are there any books (reference, acedemic, etc.) that give a good, overall picture of umbilical design, analysis, manufcture and/or installation? I don't need to know detailed calculations (although it couldn't hurt to learn those too), but more of a general over view of the whole process.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Kat

RE: Looking for Umbilical Information

Hi Kat,
I think you can go to website of Umbilical manufacturer such as DUCO or JDR.For the installation you can go for SUbsea7, Technip or Stolt.

Regards,
RK

RE: Looking for Umbilical Information

Stolt now rebranded Acergy
