(OP)
When I open a 2D drawing while in 3D once in a while Catia V5 r14 throws me out. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

RE: Catia V5 R14 Crashes while in a 3D while trying to open a 2D drawing

You could try - make a backup copy of the job, run through the CATDUA batch to clean.  I like to exit catia a few times/day, it seems to be more stable.

Derek

Certified Drivers, not Latest Drivers.  They are not the same!

Are any of the parts in 3D you have open related to the drawing you are opening?  Is CATIA trying to turn the parts to Design Mode, and you are running out of memory?
