Sprinkler System - Pressure drop

Sprinkler System - Pressure drop

(OP)
Hi everyone.

I'm currently designing a sprinkler unit like those used on golf courses.  an impulse turbine is being used to rotate the nossle up to 180 degrees.  i know its probably very simple, but id really appreciate it if someone could clarify how im supposed to achieve a pressure difference in order to have two jets of water with different ranges ejecting from the nozzel?  i presume i just use bernoulli in some form...but does it all hinge on having two different diameter pipes at a junction?  How do i ensure that the water travels through both?

Any help would be great! =D

Thanks, Jo
