HARDWARE EXCLUSION FROM BOM

HARDWARE EXCLUSION FROM BOM

HARDWARE EXCLUSION FROM BOM

(OP)
Hi All
When I "exclude from BOM" all hardware thru their "properties" tabs, they change to their "default" sizes.
Ive done this many times before at other places with none of these results.
Makes for some very large screws. Using SW2005 sp5.0 with network located toolbox. Any ideas? Thanks

RE: HARDWARE EXCLUSION FROM BOM

Check the references and see if the files are being pulled from the server... but big bolts are a direct result of the configurations for those parts being lost... has nothing to do with Exclude from BOM.

Thanks SBaugh
References are correct. What would cause configuration loss?

RE: HARDWARE EXCLUSION FROM BOM

Someone deleting them, replacing the TB parts with maybe their own DB that was located locally prior... and they didn't have the sam configs as what was once in there... a change in location and the wrong DB being transferred.

Those are some of the biggest reasons I can think of right at the moment.

I can go back and individually pick the correct size thru each component's properties. When not listed, I have to use the "replace" function. Thanks
