Need Alt. to Trichloroethane For The Temp. Expansion Of Silcone Tubing

(OP)
My company currently uses 1,1,1-trichloroethane to temporarily expand 11mm diameter silicone tubing to fit around a 13mm diameter needle.  I am looking for a safe alternative to this hazardous chemical that will basically temporarily expand the silicone in the same manner (w/o any damage).  Any suggestions?

RE: Need Alt. to Trichloroethane For The Temp. Expansion Of Silcone Tubing

Have you tried dipping the end of the tubing in boiling water?
