De Laval pumps?

De Laval pumps?

De Laval pumps?

Help,

Anyone know if the De Laval screw pumps are still being manufactured under another name?

Thanks!

RE: De Laval pumps?

I thinkt that this was a legacy name associated with IMO pumps.  We have a number of IMO screw pumps in asphalt service.  Some of the older ones have the name IMO DeLaval included on the original manuals.  The current company is IMO Industries Inc. of Monroe, NC.

Thanks for the info...IMO is apparently under Colfax.

RE: De Laval pumps?

Yes, the DeLaval pumps were split out as IMO which was sold to Colfax...www.imo-pump.com, located in Monroe NC, reps all over...Still a lot of parts available for that stuff, they're as common as dirt.

RE: De Laval pumps?

Wow - memories... My Dad spent 47 years with Delaval. He held multiple engineering and management positions with the Turbine division in Trenton, then opened the Monroe NC and Columbia KY plants were he was VP/General Manager. I spent 3.5 years as an  Engineer with Delaval - so combined, we hit the 50 year mark.

RE: De Laval pumps?

I currently work for IMO and the see a few of the old DeLaval nameplates come back in house. They are a reliable workhorse when used by competent customers.
