Part name in Parts List, NX3, no TCE

Part name in Parts List, NX3, no TCE

(OP)
I finally am dabbling parts list and autoballooning.

Thing I am having trouble figuring out is how to get the name of the actual component in the parts list, not the file name.

I added an attribute to the part file, Part name = Restrictor Housing.  But I can't get it to display it in the part list.

Any one have any suggestions?

Thank you kindly.

RE: Part name in Parts List, NX3, no TCE

In drafting, when you have the PL, you can control the text write in a column by click on the top line of the top row of that one column (for select all column) then right mouse button>style>columns tab>in attribute name put the attribute that you want read il PL, in defautl text put <W$=@xxxxxxxx> where xxxxxxxx is the part attribute that you want read on your PL and select apply to all cell in columns.
Hope this help you
bye
