RE: How to create an annotation view parallel to screen?

If you only want to use the annotation plane for text (no dimensions), another option is to use TEXT PARALLEL TO SCREEN. This text doesn't rotate and zoom like normal annotations.

This may or maynot suit your application

In my case I need to make annotations in a product (assembly) for presentation (ppt)purpose.

Jack,

I haven“t found this option in Assembly Workbench, where I can find it?

RE: How to create an annotation view parallel to screen?

I found out about this in the FTA workbench.

The function is available in Part Design, but it's not included in any toolbar.  Sounds like it's the same in the Assembly Design workbench.

So, click in the Power Input field (lower-right corner of screen) and key-in: "c:text parallel to screen" (no quotes)

If it does what you want, you can add the command to one of your Assembly Design toolbars

Jack
Text parallell to screen can be zoomed if zoomable(R16) is toggled on (properties/display tab)
