Dims in Dwgs snapping to grip???

Dims in Dwgs snapping to grip???

Dims in Dwgs snapping to grip???

All,

SW07 SP1.1 --- Anyone knows why the dimensions/text in the drawings are snapping to the grids automatically? It really is annoying when  I try to move stuff around in the drawing! I turned snap to grip option off and still does not work!

RE: Dims in Dwgs snapping to grip???

Are you sure the dimensions are snapping to the grid and not the Offset Distances settings?

Tools > Options > Document Properties > Dimensions > Offset Distances

Yes,I am sure its not the offset distances. Actually it is not just dimensions but text also. Can you let me know if you are experiencing the same?

RE: Dims in Dwgs snapping to grip???

My dimensions and text do not snap to grid points whether the grid is active or not, but (in SW07) the dimensions do snap to the Offset Distances. Sketch entities do snap to grid points.

I believe in SW2007 you can override the snap by using the ctrl key?
