EPANET program

EPANET program

Has anyone ever used the EPANET program?  I have been contacted to look at a distribution system and I am trying to learn this program.  I was thinking about buying the Hastead WaterCad program but wanted to know pros and cons for both of them.  Any recommendations for other programs?  That would also be appreciated.  Thanks

RE: EPANET program

Search this forum before asking the question.

Haestad program uses the same engine as Epanet but just has a different front end.

Epanet is just as good and miles cheaper.

If you want to invest in a steady program look at Fathom or Fluid Flow. they are easier to use than both of those you mentioned.

I have used the EPANET program and found it stable, easy, and comprehensive.

Runoff

Its just advice to use the search facility of this Forum before lazily asking  a question that has been addressed many many times. Nothing heavy handed at all.
